Class II (Landfill) Training – VAC2
The Class II course has been approved by the Virginia Board for Waste Management Facility Operators and is required by the Board regulations for certification as a Class II Waste Management Facility Operator. This is a one-day (8-hr) course for operators of Class II facilities including those which compost municipal solid waste, or sanitary, industrial, construction/demolition/debris (CDD) landfills. This course is designed to acquaint landfill operators with the Virginia Solid Waste Management Regulations and to prepare them to take the Board examination for Class II certification. Class II certificate holders are also Class I certified. Course prerequisite: Class I Basic Training Course.
The requirement for successful completion of the course and to earn continuing education hours is attendance at all modules.
