The 8-hour CPE/T course has been approved by the Virginia Board for Waste Management Facility Operators and is required every two years by the Board regulations for recertification as a Class I or II Waste Management Facility Operator. This is a one-day, eight-hour classroom course for operators of Class I or II facilities. This is a review of any updated Class I and II training requirements as outlined in the Waste Management Facility Operator Rules and Regulations; this course includes a discussion of any pertinent regulatory changes in the Virginia Solid Waste Management Regulations and current industry topics.
The requirement for successful completion of the course and to earn continuing education hours is attendance at all modules.
To earn IACET CEUS a camera and microphone are required for participation as is a valid ID for identity confirmation.
