This one-day, 9-hour classroom course has been approved by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) for operators of C&D, Industrial and MSW landfills. It serves as both continuing education and provides hours for initial certification. Topics covered include technical, regulatory, and operational requirements for landfills with a special emphasis on the requirements that are unique under ADEM's Solid Waste Regulations.
The requirement for successful completion of the course and to earn continuing education hours is attendance at all modules.
